Inmate Death Notification
Florence, Ariz. – Inmate Eric Bybee, 32, ADC #171555, died while in Arizona Department of Corrections custody Saturday after apparently committing suicide.
Bybee was found in his cell where emergency medical responders pronounced him dead.
Bybee was admitted to ADC on Jan. 4, 2008, for a dangerous drug violation conviction from Maricopa County. He was released to community corrections on April 15, but returned to ADC custody May 18 on a parole violation and was held at the Central Unit, ASPC-Florence.
The death is under investigation by the department.
