Inmate Dies At Florence Prison

PHOENIX -- One inmate at the Arizona State Prison Complex in Florence is dead after a suspected drug overdose, authorities said.According to the official Inmate Death Notification, Douglas Nunn, 33, died Saturday.Before his death, Nunn told staff that he took some pills, the notice said. When he started having seizures, officials took him to Casa Grande Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His death is under investigation.
Nunn was serving a seven-year, six-month sentence out of Yavapai County for aggravated assault and aggravated driving under the influence.
